Manuscripts
《介入:艺术、共生与中国在地实践》Place-based artistic practice in China, from community art and ecological intervention to rural projects and urban public space; includes a critical test of Western theories of participatory art and relational aesthetics against Chinese realities.
《历史的重量:安瑟姆·基弗与当代艺术的再物质化》Kiefer read against the tension between post-war German reconstruction and the dematerialisation of art; what rematerialisation can still mean as a critical strategy today.
《博伊斯的方法论遗产》Beuys treated as an inheritable method rather than a style: how social sculpture survives, mutates and fails in curatorial practice, read alongside Chinese artists.
《当代艺术失败论》Why contemporary art keeps failing in terms of social effect, and how market logic, the biennial system and critical discourse collude in that failure.
《折叠的当代——非西方同时代性与中国当代艺术的三体结构》Proposes a triadic structure — official aesthetics, market-driven internationalisation, and critical place-based practice — as the structural tension shaping Chinese contemporary art.

Steps in the working framework
Curating is where theoretical claims are tested against lived reality. Over the past decade Li Yukun has taken part in more than thirty exhibitions as curator or academic adviser, working with close to two hundred artists, most of them at the margins of the official art system: community spaces, regional institutions, non-profit venues, and individual practices that appear in no art history. Every exhibition enters a single research framework — social reality, curatorial mechanism, artistic response.
